Motorcycle gloves, gloves and other sports, like all industries are labor-intensive products, because of its complex shape and function, so a lot of procedures need to be completed. New features of Alpinestars SP-1
The main difference I have noticed with the Alpinestars motorcycle gloves is with the finish. Incidentally these gloves are also marketed as Alpinestars gloves just in case you were wondering they are the same thing! So the finish, compared to the Alpinestars gloves or Alpinestars GP Tech gloves the finish is a bit cheap. You may find that there are long threads hanging or the leather has not quite been cut to the fit you would expect. I guess Alpinestars can get away with it since its been marketed as a mid range glove. If you can live with the inferior finish then there is no reason not to buy these gloves. They will provide you with an excellent level of protection and come at a fantastic price. The cheapest I have seen the Alpinestars SP1 gloves are about $100 and its a great bargain at that price.
Alpinestars gloves are also on the market. You’ll also find them listed as Alpinestars SP-2 gloves and are very similar to the SP1 model but are even cheaper.
The SP-1 range also come in Alpinestars gloves Stella SP-1 format which is directed completely at the female market. It’s touted as having a cut specifically to fit a ladies hand and so it will fit much better.
Alpinestars SP-1 Gloves
Most of the Alpinestars gloves I have looked at so far have been pretty much at the top of the range. I hope I haven’t scared anyone off with the cost of these gloves. There are so called mid ranged biking gloves out there if that’s what you’re after. I know not everyone has $300 to spend on a pair of gloves so if you’re looking for that Alpinestars quality but your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far how about going for the Alpinestars gloves? They are aimed at general road use, you won’t catch any of the big named MotoGP stars using them but then hey how many of us are going to get to that level? Not me I know that much! Don’t let the ‘mid-range’ tag full you into thinking that you’re buying an inferior product though. They are stunning looking gloves and will provide you with an exceptionally high level of protection no matter what type of vehicle you’re on.
The Alpinestars motorcycle gloves are constructed from leather and the thickness of the leather varies from point to point on the gloves. Obviously the areas which require most protection have the thickest area of leather. Kevlar is also present which acts as additional abrasion resistance for that top quality protection. The knuckles are made up of carbon fiber and carbon fiber sliders are also present and correct on the fingers. As standard on the Alpinestars gloves these days is the ventilation holes to let a little air in to your hands for those long summer rides. These are present on the fingers and the wrist area. The wrist gauntlet is also rather familiar as it is the standard dual Velcro closure. The fit of these gloves is excellent and comes in various different sizes so you should find a pair to suit your needs. It is possible to get small Alpinestars gloves as I know this is a common query especially with the Alpinestars Alloy Gloves.
Scorpion Helmets in Hollywood
<big> Dean McDermott, co-star of the Tori & Dean show featured on the Oxygen Channel, isn't your average Hollywood TV celebrity. He's as much a <a href="http://www.x-ck.com">scorpion/ motorcycle helmets</a> enthusiast as the rest of us. He's been riding bikes since the ripe age of 12 and recently got the urge to take to the race track. So 'Scorpion USA' hooked him up with a full-custom race suit and helmets to get the job done. He now has his WERA racing license and has been chiseling his knee-dragging skills ever since. He's getting faster and part of that process is tossing the bike along the way. He's walked away from 2 crashes. One at low speed and another at over 100mph when the front end pushed out. Scorpion EXO-1000 review -- Part8
Another small button lets the air out. This all sounds interesting, and it's so new and different that everyone thought it would change the world. But think about it -- when's the last time you felt the need to inflate the cheek pads in your <a title="Scorpion Helmets" href="http://www.x-ck.com/blogs/scorpion-helmets">Scorpion Helmets</a>? I think once I bought a set of thinner cheek pads for an Arai helmet, but other than that, it's a need I didn't know I had.
With the cheek pads deflated, the helmet fits pretty much like any other <a title="Scorpion EXO-1000 helmet " href="http://www.x-ck.com/blogs/scorpion-exo-1000-helmet">Scorpion EXO-1000 helmet</a>; maybe like the cheek pads are slightly thinner, i.e. more roomy than normal. But you don't really notice it until you pump them up. I can't really add much air before they get too tight.
So for those unusual owners who may have a large head but very hollow cheeks, this may be a desirable feature. For the rest of us, it's a complexity and weight additive that the <a title="Scorpion motorcycle helmets" href="http://www.x-ck.com/blogs/scorpion-motorcycle-helmets">Scorpion motorcycle helmets</a> could do without. But then they wouldn't have much to market, no?
We're interested in hearing other opinions; perhaps we're missing something here?

Motorcycle Gloves Introduction
Motorcycle summer gloves
Summer gloves are often no more that thin leather gloves without a lining and hardly any water resistance. It's best to consider having gloves made of leather as it's the safest (for example cycling gloves would be shredded in the event of a fall).
Motorcycle fingerless gloves
There are two types, with and without fingers. (without might be comfy but you're not driving a car) If you ride in extreme sunny/hot conditions perforations in your gloves (for cooling) can give you a nasty sunburn.
Motorcycle medium weight gloves
(racing gloves / summer gloves)
Medium weight is between summer and winter gloves and most riders have these. Some are lined, some aren't. These days they have special protection areas and are really comfortable. You can get them in all sorts and styles.
Motorcycle winter gloves
Much thicker than medium weight gloves. Really made to keep your hands warm during colder weather. They will often have to handle rain too (just make sure they can, otherwise they are worthless).
Motorcycle rain gloves
Often no more than a plastic covering to keep the rain out. I'm not such a fan of them. They can get slippery on the controls, get bulky and I don't like glove over glove. However rain gloves are often quite cheap and easy to carry along.Alpinestars gloves-The Best In Motorcycle Gloves Today

Introduction of Alpinestars Gloves
The company started out way back in 1963 in Italy and started off making hiking and ski boots. They moved swiftly on to making boots for motocross racing. In the 1990’s the company really moved on and branched out into making protective jackets and gloves which we all know and have come to love today. You can also get a full leather suit for racing which is a bit pricey but it’s well worth the money if you can afford it. Personally I’ve got a few pairs of gloves and that’s about as far as the budget can stretch at the moment. I do have my eyes on a cool pair of Alpinestars boots and a leather jacket. One amazing fact I found out today is that Alpinestars used to make brand mountain bikes but unfortunately stopped production in 1996. They make amazing motocross gear so I can only imagine how wonderful the mountain bikes would have been. I wonder if they still sell them on Ebay. Worth a look later.
Anyway Alpinestars have offices in Tokyo and Los Angeles and of course they have a strong presence in Italy. Most of the research and development still takes place in Italy. The brand is today worn by MotoGP World Champions Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner so if you ever were in any doubt about the quality of Alpinestars gloves then that should set your mind at ease. Nicky Hayden wears the famous Alpinestars GP Tech gloves if you’re looking the buy the same pair. He’s also been known to wear the Alpinestars GP Pro gloves. The equipment is also used in Formula One and NASCAR with recent champions Fernando Alonso and Jimmie Johnson helping to develop the gear such as gloves, footwear, Nomex suits and even underwear. You can appreciate how fast these guys are going in their vehicles and so safety is one of the key features. This is where Alpinestars gloves and equipment really excel especially with the Alpinestars Alloy Gloves.

Womens motorcycle gloves
motorcycle gloves comments
Dainese blew these. Do they expect the girls who'd wear these to be gullible enough to pay such high price for an insufferable fit, to be unbreakable superwomen that need minimal protections, or to be discouraged by such joking treatment that they just stay away from serious riding!!?
I ordered these Alpinestars gloves at a Dainese store after trying the men's equivalent thinking that the women's would fit (slimmer palm, longer fingers) and look better. I received these in the mail and were shocked by their poor-fit and lack of protection.
Then what upsets me, as this happens with the majority of brands, is that the girl's design is such a cheat and downgrade from men's (supposedly comparable) versions of metal motorcycle gloves - at the same high price! The motorcycle gloves, except the knuckle plate and shield that deceivingly shine like Valentino Rossi's, they are soft everywhere else, not a bit of meaningful protection on finger joints, sides or wrists, the palms go completely thin and flimsy!
i should stick with men's track gloves and stay mindful of the inferior woman's gear.
The fingers are extremely short - especially the middle and index fingers - almost half an inch too short; yet the palm is really baggy. I have normally shaped hands that are in no way too slim or long, these gloves seem to have been made for
Neanderthals' hand shapes. I had them on for a ride out on the streets and my two fingers' tips went sore from wanting to poke through the Alpinestars motorcycle gloves, yet my palm did not have good contact with the handle bar due to bagginess. Small tightening traps cut too short (close to the palm) on the wrists, bothersome! The cuff strap, due to lack of insert or padding, are too soft and thin to control its proper tightening around the sleeves, either too loose or too restrictive.

We consider a touring motorcycle helmet to be a helmet that is designed to be worn for long distances while riding mostly in the upright position. Typically, some well-known bikes that require this position are the Honda Goldwing, various Harley-Davidsons, BMW R1200GS, KTM 990 Adventure and so on. Any ADV or Touring bike where you're going to be sitting upright for the majority of your ride. In this video, we highlight eight of our top picks for touring helmets, and discuss the various feature sets of each helmet.
In this video, we tried to isolate what we think are the best-in-class for ADV touring helmets based on several criteria: excellent ventilation when in the upright riding position, very lightweight, ergonomic and comfortable, along with being able to combat multiple weather variables.

Alpinestars
Alpinestars leather motorcycle gloves contain short gloves, for street riding, touring or everyday commuting, as well as 3/4 gloves, which are a compromise between the longest sports gloves and their short gloves.
Some of their short gloves feature perforated leather for maximum air-flow, as well as abrasion-resistant palms, which, combined together, offer excellent warm-weather performance.
For Alpinestars top-of-the-line leather gloves, you'll see their full-length, full protection, sport/racing gloves, which feature superior knuckle protection, precurved fingers (for better fit and tactile feel), along with their very best leather protec
